I have news from Joey for you. She got in some big hauls from blog readers. I want to thank you all so much for supporting her charitable efforts. I just love it when a new finisher comes along and you all treat them like they are old friends. Joey lives in the Dubuque, Iowa area so if you’re in the area and want to support her, you surely can. You can also mail goodies her way. Here is her email address in case you do. djmahieu@icloud.com
Joey writes:
“I received a very generous donation from Jade B in Wisconsin for borders, binding or backings, also batting cut-offs with measurements to use up as well.
Thanks Jade!“

I received these beautiful tops from your blog reader Darlene J in Minnesota this week. They’re so pretty, they’re all around lap size 45 x 60. These will be done in between customer quilts.“

Can you believe she sent 11 quilts tops? WOW!

All are unique and will be so appreciated by the recipients once Joey has time to finish them.
Joey has a longarm business. She works charity quilts into her days when she’s caught up on customer quilts. It’s so nice that she volunteers her time and talents. We are so blessed to have her as part of the community quilt group. Thanks Joey!!
So much support from your blog readers – very generous and thanks Joey for volunteering to finish the quilt tops.
Give my regards to Dubuque. Worked there from 2010 to 2013. Froze my ??? off in the winters. Otherwise it was a great area. Awesome job on those quilts.
Wonderful quilt tops, Jade. Welcome to Joey. Thank you for quilting tops for charities.
Boy, Joey – you really scored with all those goodies! Yay! I know you’ll put them to good use – can’t wait to see!
Wow, such amazing gifts and I know those that receive them will feel the love from the makers. Just lovely
