I have community quilts from Joey to share with you today. Joey hasn’t been with the group for a long time but oh my. She is cranking out quilts right and left. She’s super ambitious!!
She writes:
“Here are quilts donated by the Cresco ladies & Kenda T in Wi. Backings from Jane W in WI, & Kenda T in WI. Bindings from trimmings from the backing or from my stash. Donated to SWCAP for homeless, domestic violence victims, foster care & https://shpbeds.org/ kids without beds“.
The first one is quilted with hearts and loops. What a great choice for a motif to off set the squares.
What a great quilt. I can see that the centers of the blocks are fussy-cut and scenic with animals or nature. I am sure anyone outdoorsy would love this quilt.
Next up….
Joey worked on this fun quilt. It looks to be a charm square quilt. It is quilted with a zig-zag across the quilt that replicated the designs of the fabric.
What a fun complimentary backing fabric. That’s part of the fun of scrappy quilts, almost anything goes for the backing!!
This one got a meander design. It looks to be bigger than the other quilts.
There is lots of scrappy goodness in this quilt!! Joey did a meander on this one!
Quilted swirls with petals around them, for a fun flirty quilt.
These are beautiful! Well done everyone! These will sure to be cherished by recipients!

Very lovely quilts. The stitching for the quilt with the gray backing makes the baking come alive and beautiful. Great work Joey
