I got a few emails from Joey showing off her finished Community Quilts. I am sharing the first of the emails with you today.
Joey writes:
I had the honor of quilting 4 more quilts. Joyce B pieced the tops for the UCC Church and/or Iowa county Sleep In Heavenly Peace group.
She supplied backing. You supplied batting.
Thank you both so much!
These were quilted between Christmas & New years.
She has made up several of the star patterns.
She just dropped 8 more tops/backs off today. She is prolific & the quilts are fantastic.
WOW…great quilts and the color selection is perfect. Joey always does a great job with the longarming, too. How wonderful it is that Joyce and Joey teamed up to do such great work.
Beautiful quilts – they will be so appreciated.
Love and prayers
So thrilled to hear that one of Joey’s finishes might go to the Sleep in Heavenly Peace organization. It’s such a worthy charity for children to support.
Beautiful quilts! I particularly like the star quilts – both of them and the others are real pretty too. These will be a blessing to someone. Thank you Joey & Joyce!
The colors and piecing of these are stellar. The machine quilting is the perfect touch on each one. Beautiful finishes. Thank you for sharing.
Wow, these are all gorgeous! Nice job ladies!!!
