Joey strikes again with another bunch of great community quilts.
I received 13 quilt tops from Karen H in NE. In the fall. Finished quilting them last month and finally bound them in the last few weeks.
This one is 44 x 53 cute charm quilt in purple polka dots. Quilted with purple thread, curls in the border & cathedral window in the squares.
Fun purple & white backing, I used the backing trimmings for the binding,
This Halloween strip quilt is 45 x 54, with adorable prints bordered in green. I did a meander quilting on it in orange thread.
I used up a couple of strips of Halloween fabrics from my stash for backing & binding
I absolutely love the rails in this 48 x 48” square quilt. I quilted this with curls & thread is grey on top & navy on the back. I needed to use up some bobbins that I had filled & left over from customer quilts.
Sweet bears with balloons for the backing & binding. Previous donation in the stash.
This charm quilt is 47 x 42, quilted with heats & stars with loops in red thread. I really love all the different patterns in these fabrics.
Flannel for the back & binding from the donation stash.
This is a bit larger charm quilt. 48 x 60. Quilted bars in opposite directions in every square. Light gray thread top & bottom.
I had a backing made that was large enough for 2 backings you’ll see another I in the next set of this show.
This sweet 9-patch is 41 x 48. I quilted it with swirls & curls in gray thread on top & navy on the bottom.
Bears & ballons on the back & binding.
Joey is surely a talent!! She does such a nice job with these quilts. A HUGE shout out to the Cresco Ladies because I think they were the ones that made these tops. I’m always amazed at how many quilts they make and how creative they are!! Thanks everyone for you part in making these come to life!!
