Community Quilts from Elizabeth

I have quilts to share with you from Elizabeth.  I believe all of the quilt tops were originally made by the Cresco Ladies quilting group.

Elizabeth writes:
These will be going to Meals on Wheels recipients who are thrilled to be the beneficiary of the efforts of our organization (Montgomery County Family and Community Education).

Thanks to all your contributors who have made this possible.”

This is a nice quilt to make for donation if you have a lot of one fabric but want to add a little interest.

This was a nice top to make with a panel-style fabric.  Too often I only think that a layout has to be made so there is a print in every corner.  That doesn’t work when there is an even number of blocks.  Laying it out like this solves that problem and no extra blocks are leftover.

This big oversized block is one of my favorites.  It’s a great easy-to-make block and when using large-sized squares, one block can make a whole quilt.

I think this next one is my favorite of the bunch…
The colors are awesome!!

That’s the four quilts that Elizabeth had to share with us today.  She does great work and finishes these quilts so nicely.

A big thank you to the Cresco ladies for making the tops and to Elizabeth for the hard work of finishing them.
