Community Quilts from Betty

Betty has been busy again. She finished up five quilts and is ready to share them with us. Betty writes:

I am attaching a picture of a cute quilt that was sent to me by Anonymous from Kernersville, NC.

The pattern is cute Lambs with flowers. The size is approximately 52 x 52. She also sent backing and binding, which is a great help. It will be donated to local foster children. I quilted it with a feather and swirl motif.

I am attaching pictures of quilt tops sent to me by Chris J of South Dakota. She sent me four tops with kid fabrics. They are adorable.

The first is Dogs. I used a sheet for the backing, and she sent binding.

The second is Dinosaurs. I had some fabric that matched the colors of the quilt well, and Chris provided the binding.

The 3rd quilt is Airplanes. Chris provided the backing and binding.

There was also a quilt top with construction equipment, and for some unknown reason, I cannot get it to send from my phone camera to my laptop when all of the others worked?? Technology sometimes seems to be stubborn. If I get it to work, I will send it later. These quilts will be donated to local foster children.

Oh my. That was definitely a cuteness overload post. Thanks so much for your work in finishing them, Betty. They all look awesome! Chris and the Annonymous donor, thanks for your great quilt tops. I love them all!! They are sure to be loved by the kiddos that receive them.

If you have tops that you would like to donate for Betty to finish, you can contact her at this email address. betty_skillett@yahoo.com

  1. Very cute quilts!! I like how each quilt has its own theme. There is a special place in my heart for lambs, so the lamb with flowers really made me smile. Great work by all. Thank you Betty, Chris, and Anonymous for helping to make some kiddo feel loved.
