Ronda the longarmer was busy again…she finished up two quilt tops to send along to charity. Ronda writes:
“I have a couple quilts finished and ready for donation. First up is a top sent to me from my friend, Debbie, from New York. She made this pretty top using fabric given to her from another woman’s stash.”
“She also made the backing. There was enough backing fabric to use for the binding, too. It finished at 57 X 67.”
“The next top was sent to me from“…
…”Kathy M. from Westerly, RI.”
“I’m thinking you sent the fabric I used for the back, Jo, but I could be wrong about that. When I’m looking for backing fabric and I pull out several to audition, it is too easy to get mixed up with what came out of each box.”
(Jo speaking now: I have no idea if I sent it. So often I just pass on something someone sent to me. Whoever the originator of the fabric is THANKS!!)
“Kathy’s quilt finished up at 60 X 75.”
“Both of these quilts will probably go to Opportunities Unlimited, but I will need to call them first to see if they can still take quilts at this time. If not, I will have a bunch to donate when things get back to normal.”
Thanks so much for finishing these up. I think more than ever we need to see bright rays of sunshine. Ronda and all who donated to make these quilts happen, you are the sunshine. THANKS.
Both quilts are stunning! Kudos to everyone involved!
To all involved with these quilts, great job. Thanks to all for sharing your time, fabric and talent.
As a longarmer, I really appreciate the time that Rhonda donates in making these donated tops come to life as charity quilts. SEW… thank you, Rhonda, for your continued service to quilting for a worthy cause!! Jo, thanks for sharing her efforts with us.
So beautiful – what a nice donation someone will be receiving. Thanks to all who made this happen!!
You quilters are wonderful to share your talents!
I’m ready to get things back to normal. Sewing away. Nice quilt!
