Charity Quilt Update from Ronda

I got a note in my email last week from Ronda.  She is one of the ladies on the registry we have that is looking for quilt related donations that she can turn in to finished quilt and give away to charity.  (To learn more about donating quilt supplies look at the tab at the top of this page.)

Ronda does lots of charity quilting and is very supportive of her community donating many quilts to needy causes.  She recently finished two quilts from supplies that I had passed on to her.  She is donating them to Siouxland Humane Society to raise money to help the pets in the area.

I’m sorry that the pictures in this post are small but it’s the best I could do as the pictures Ronda sent wouldn’t allow me to increase the size.

I did feature two of the quilts that Ronda created on the blog previously but wanted to show them off to you again as I thought maybe someone out there would like to purchase one of the quilts.  I also wanted you to see that quilts do get passed on to charitable organizations.

This quilt was a bunch of pieces and blocks when I sent it to Ronda.

This one was too.

The next two are Ronda’s own creations.

Many thanks to all of you out there who use your quilting skills and those who donate supplies to make charity quilts happen.  There are so many worthy causes out there that can use our help.

If you want to learn more about their Humane Society Auction you can click this link.  If you want to see all of the quilts that are being donated or possibly make an absentee bid on a quilt, you can find information about that here on Siouxland Humane Society’s Facebook page.  The auction is June 1st so there’s plenty of time to look and see if there is something there that interests you.
