Charity Quilt Finish

I love our blog readers.  So many are kind and generous.  I got a box Michele in Bethesda, Maryland.  In there were two quilt tops.  I put this baby quilt on the frame the other day and bound it the next.  It’s so fun to do something small as it doesn’t take a lot of time and I still get the little “I accomplished something high”.

Isn’t it cute???  Kelli saw it and said she thinks it’s a Schnibble pattern and thinks the fabric line was Moda’s Giggles.  I don’t know..It could be.

You can see it’s just a little quilt by looking at Ruby sitting on it.  It is big enough for a baby quilt though.  Hubby and I went through a big debate on which color to do the binding with.  I had a pink, blue and green…all matched.  He had picked the pink.  I over road it and went with the green.  I think it was the right choice.

I just did a small meander.  I love that for baby quilts.  I used a variegated pastel thread-I’ve been using that a lot lately.

You know me…if I have a variegated thread that might work, I’ll likely use it!!

Thanks for sending the quilt my way Michelle.  We’ll find a good charity to donate it to.

We’ll be hooking this quilt up with Confessions of a Fabric Addict, Crazy Mom Quilts, Michelle’s Romantic Tangle and Link a Finish Friday.
