Charity Quilt Finish

Blog readers often send me quilt tops and I machine quilt them and bind them.  Then they are sent off to a worthy charity.  This is one of those.

Next on the stack of charity quilts to do was this one.  This one is smaller so it was quick.

Kalissa had came by when I was working on it and commented about it being small.  I suggested to her that she keep an eye out at the nursing home that she picks up extra hours at and see if there might be a gentleman who could use one as a wheel chair blanket.

She sparked at that idea and said she would be on the look out and find a person for it.

The thread on top was a blue and the back was a grey….The motif is free motion edge to edge.  It’s something I modified from the Pajama Quilter.

Ruby is sitting nice in this one.  I give her a treat for sitting pretty on the quilt and I have a treat in my hand

I think this one came from Sharon…my apologies if I am wrong.  Again this is one that got mixed up when the quilting room got cleaned.  Thanks so much for the donation.  Someone will surely love it.

Today we’re sharing our finished quilt at  Confessions of a Fabric AddictCrazy Mom Quilts, and Link a Finish Friday.

  1. That is my quilt that i sent you. It was made to take to our local nursing home but for some reason, it never made it. Our church ladies group was making lap quilts for the residents and this pattern is the perfect size. I have made many, many of these for baby quilts and thought it would be the perfect pattern. For some reason, this one never got finished so when I sent you a box of tops, I stuck this one in. Hope it can be put to good use.
