I have a goal to finish one charity quilt each day for the next five days. Each afternoon I am hoping to share a finished quilt with you. None of this would have even had been possible if it weren’t for the help of some awesome help of a very talented quilt maker. All of the quilt tops and most of the backing was provided by Pam. She does wonderful work and I am honored that she entrusted these tops to me to finish and donate.
I feel bad that I don’t have a better picture. It is drizzling outside so I can’t go out and take a photo.
The quilting is kind of fun. I don’t know if you can see the big floral design on each block.
This one is 60″ x 72″. They want bed sized quilts…so this one is nip and tuck on size and really should be slightly bigger for a twin but I am going to send it along. There is a real need and this is probably close enough.
I put Hobbs batting in it so it’s super soft and cozy. It feels like it’s been used for years….
That’s charity quilt number one for the week. I am off to work on quilt two. I want to make my goal of one each day for the next five days.
Jo it is so wonderful! They will love it!
Very pretty quilting and love the colors she used. Wonderful job you irls are doing.
How is ruby doing?
Good Job Jo!!!!!
Nice job Jo. I’ll have to dig through my tops to see what I can send you. Thanks for finishing our quilt tops for donation.
The quilt looks great! I’m looking forward to seeing the next four quilts! The amount you get done amazes me.
I’m trying to transfer an audio book from Over Drive to my son’s IPod. Maybe that could be the topic of a future blog. Or has it been… I’ll do a search. Or I’m going to order the MP3 player you have as it surely is easier to use than the IPod.
That is really nice, love the colors and the quilting itself ties it in nicely. I am still learning how to visualize colors for planning. I’ll get there one day! This is very nice.

A quilt a day?? It takes me months to do a quilt! You are a workhorse!
Very lovely Jo what a wonderful challenge to give to your self. Blessings Sandra
