If you’re here for the Quiltmaker Blog Hop for the 100 Blocks issue, follow this link.
Here we are week five of the challenge to finish up a Bonnie Hunter quilt pattern before the new mystery begins. If you missed this and want to join us, here’s a link to the info.
How are you doing on your project?? They say slow and steady wins the race.
I am happy with my progress. Last week I told you I needed extra blocks. They are all make and sewn on to the center so I have a completed center!!
I looks much better than I thought it would. I think one of the reasons I didn’t finish it up was that I didn’t think the white part wouldn’t stand out enough but in the end, it’s all okay!!
I’ve been leader and endering the border triangles so hopefully without to much work, I’ll have the top finished by next week. That’s the goal anyway!!
How are you doing?
Stop back next week and see how we’re all doing. Time is getting tight so I need to discipline myself a little.
Looks like an out of state move in December is going to stop me dead in my tracks until January or so. Probable will be late starting the MQ too. But that’s ok. My husband has been in Texas since July and I’m tired of being apart. He finally found us a house that meets most of our requirements. Thankful!
I am down to borders on my Orca Bay.
My trip-around-the-world is finally finished, and on the way to the quilter! I was torn on how much I liked it at first, but it’s growing on me. :)
That is coming together great, you just may get er done before GI!
Ran into seam guide issues on the featherweight, so last night’s sewing needs to be “fixed”. Tumalo Trail is making forward progress, however, I am not sure it will be a top by Black Friday. I am going to push myself though. I DID get a flannel Crayon Box into top and started piecing the back. I may make time this weekend to get it quilted and bound. . .snowstorm hit over the weekend, so NO SEW (snow) day here! Maybe it will hit in January and February when I REALLY NEED a surprise day off!
Sigh. Ive made no progress. My dad fell last Wednesday and when i’m not at work or sleeping i’m at the hospital. Im hoping to sew something this weekend.
Looks great! Can’t wait to see it finished, I thought the colors you chose were great :)
