I’m doing a little series of posts that feature old blog posts. I have been going back and looking at them. It’s been fun. I started blogging in June 2009…WOW—over fifteen years. Today, I’m still playing catch-up, so today I’m telling you about September of 2015.Â
I finished Kalissa and Craig’s wedding quilt. WHEW!! You can read more about it and see more pictures HERE.

Rick and I are thinking of redoing the bedroom this winter. He was thinking about a gray color scheme. I didn’t quite know about that. Then seeing this I realized that would be okay. I can make a quilt in a gray color scheme.
I made a quilt for my niece Ariel when she go married. You can use 2 1/2″ strips or two jelly rolls to make it. You can read more about the quilt HERE. You can find the free pattern HERE.

I was working on my Pineapple Crazy quilt. You can read about it HERE.

I was working on Bonnie Hunter’s Garden Party quilt…You can read about it HERE.

I gave you a preview of my sewing room as I was first putting it together.

Kramer finished this cabinet for me. I still have it. You can read about it HERE.
I started my Wild Child quilt…

Kelli and I made the newspaper about our quilting. You can read about it HERE.

I told the story of a sewing cabinet I bought. You can read about it HERE.

The cabinet now lives at Kayla’s house. It was really a nice cabinet.
I was busy making pie. This happened to be a Blueberry and Pear Pie. The recipe allows you to use any fruit. You can find it HERE.

I shared the recipe we make if we are hosting something big. The reason I made it this time was for Kalissa’s wedding reception. You can find the recipe HERE.

I told you about an auction day and this cabinet. You can read more about it HERE. The cabinet is in my south bedroom.

I did an Ask Jo when someone asked why do all the men in my family have a beard. You can read my answers HERE.
I told a Ruby story. If you remember, Ruby was my beagle before Rosie.

You can read about it HERE. Ruby had another adventure HERE.
We dug things up so we’d be ready for a garden in 2016.

It’s funny. Now we are thinking about seeding the garden with grass. It is funny how time changes things.
I shared pictures from Kalissa’s wedding HERE.

September was a busy month with two wedding in the family…and two quilts to make. HA!! It’s so fun going back and seeing what was happening then.

Love this post! But…the link that’s supposed to go to the big cabinet (wardrobe) with the mirror on it goes back to Ariel’s quilt.
Always fun to read the “blast from the past” posts and see pictures. Gray can be a very pretty color especially if put together with a pretty color.
