I’m doing a little series of posts that feature old blog posts. I have been going back and looking at them. It’s been fun. I started blogging in June 2009…WOW—over fifteen years. Today, I’m still playing catch-up, so today I’m telling you about November of 2014.Â
We had a quilt featured on Moda Bake Shop. You can read about it HERE. You can get the free pattern HERE.

I had challenged myself to finish up some of my Bonnie quilts. I had Celtic Solstice into a top. You can read about it HERE.

I was also working on my Spoolin’ Around quilt.

We had a quilt published in Quiltmaker Magazine. It was our Cinder Block quilt. You can find the pattern in the Jan/Feb 2015 issue. You can read more about it HERE.

We offered a free pattern on the blog for this little cutie quilt…You can find the free pattern and read about it HERE.

Kelli and I had a block feature in Quiltmaker’s 10000 blocks. This was our block.

We made this quilt using that block.

I finished a community quilt. I just did the longarming and binding.

We were in the middle of remodeling the house and I was feeling great frustration. I wrote a 10 Things I Wish I Had Known blog post. You can read it HERE.
The house got tyvex in the early part of the month and siding in the later part. If finally felt like it was coming together.

When we remodeled we tried to do everything we could easily ourselves. We were working with a great contractor and he would allow us to do that. We put in all of the roll up insulation…

On the house remodel, I was in the dumps a bit. Progress seemed so slow. One day Kramer went to town to check on the house and called me. He said, “I think you want to come in and see this.”
They installed the gingerbread trim piece.

It looked so nice.

It was on the house originally. We took it down, and I repainted and fixed it. Oh, I love it!! I was so happy we were able to save that trim piece.

We were having trouble solidifying plans for the kitchen cabinets. You can read about that HERE.
In the kitchen I was experimenting and made chocolate bars with a can of chocolate pie filling and an angel food cake mix. You can read about it HERE.

I tried a recipe to make biscuits. It used a can of 7-up. You can find the recipe HERE.

I was busy making Pizza Quesadillas. I still make these regularly only now in a skillet. You can read about them HERE.

Kramer was busy harvesting the crops.

That’s what was happening at the Kramer house in November of 2014.

Oh my gosh – you were so busy then, weren’t you? Looking back, do you ever wonder how did we do that? :-)
DH has things come up in memories on his phone – I think back to then and think wow – we did that? LOL!
Love and prayers
What a busy lady you were! You and Kelli did so much together. I sure like seeing the progress on your house. It really turned out so cute. You and Kramer really took a vision and made it a reality. I also want to try the biscuits and making the quilt – Ring Around the Rosies.
