My sister in law has been eating a Keto style diet for months now and is doing great with it. She even talked my brother into giving it a try and he’s liked it too.
A couple days ago she was raving about her Big Mac Salad and even though I am not eating Keto, I decided to give it a try….oh my. I love it.
Kelli had said that she found a recipe on Pinterest and sent it to me. And guess what? I even had everything we needed to make it.
She tried going back and finding the link to the recipe, but the link ended up just being a picture so we aren’t able to credit the original person with there recipe, but we still want to share it with you because it’s awesome!
Romaine Lettuce
Tomatoes
Dill pickles
Cheddar cheese
Ground Beef
Sauce:
1/2 cup mayo
2 tbs ketchup
2 tbs mustard
2 tbs pickle juice
One thing that’s nice to do with this salad is to just cut up all of the ingredients and let everyone make their own salad. That way if they don’t want meat or tomatoes, they can just not put meat or tomatoes in their salad.
It really makes a nice light salad, perfect for a quick summer supper!
This was nice to see!!! :) My recipe uses smoked paprika instead of ketchup. Of course I think I put extra pickles just because!! I am not very good at trying new things but I love salads so this one worked great at our house and you are right it is good with out the hamburger as well!
This is a great idea. Something I can eat while my family has burgers.
What are the pieces that look like chicken? Is it the whiter part of the lettuce?
