A post from Kelli–
You may be confused by the title of this post, but that is what we call Kalissa’s little dog Betsy. Â I have no idea how we came up with it, but it just stuck. Â A few weeks ago, I got a frantic call from Kalissa about little Miss Betsy. Â She said that she had been over at Mom’s and had two or three accidents in the house in a matter of about two hours. Â This was especially odd because she had been outside to go to the bathroom two or three times as well. Â Kalissa was worried that she had a bladder infection or urinary tract infection. Â She knew that Betsy needed to go to the vet, but she had to work and Craig was at work too.
Enter Super-Kelli! Â I ended up running up to Ossian (about 5 or 6 miles from my house) meeting Kalissa and picking up Betsy. Â We couldn’t get her into the vet right away, so we went back to my house for about a half an hour. Â Knowing that she was having bathroom issues, I picked up all of the rugs in the kitchen and attempted to barricade off the doorways into the kitchen. This proved quite difficult as we have a large arch into the dining room. Â I should have snapped a picture of what I rigged up as it was quite commical, but forgot. Â It involved chairs, boxes, and a few pillows, but it didn’t work too well.
Anyway, I ended up taking Betsy into the vet where they decided that they think she had a very early UTI. Â When I brought her back to my house, her and Puppy got to play around a bit until Craig was able to come and pick up Miss Boo Bop and her meds. Â Her and Puppy ran and chased and chased and ran. Â I believe that in light of the circumstances, they had quite the fun little day!
The good news, Betsy is feeling better already.
Puppy and I are hoping she visits again sometime but this time we hope it doesn’t include a visit to the vet.
Betsy is adorable! And I love your kitchen floor’s design, too!
Which dog is which? ( I LOVE Beagles! So happy when you and your mom post pix of your doggies!)
