If you are new to the blog…WELCOME!! I love when new people stop by. For those of you who are regulars…thanks for hanging out with me! Today I’m hosting a giveaway as part of the “Beat the Winter Blues Blog Hop” sponsored by the Quilting Gallery.
I tired to think of something fun to giveaway….I wanted something fun..something cheery so I came up with this!
This is a copy of Quilting Quickly. It features lots of fun great projects from the gals at Missouri Star Quilt Company. It’s a great magazine with lots of fun quick projects.
The jelly roll is one of Moda’s latest, “Glamping”. You can check out all the fabrics in the line here at Fat Quarter Shop. The line is super cute with lots of bright fun colors that are sure to chase the winter blues away. I get such a kick out of the name “Glamping”…what is it? Glamorous camping??
You don’t need to follow my blog or follow on facebook for a chance to win…but you sure can!! Right now I have 980 facebook followers. I am going to sweeten the pot. If I reach 1000 followers by the time the giveaway is over, I will find another set of goodies to giveaway.
If you would like a chance to win..let me know..are you are camper? I am not. Anything except my bed or a bed in a hotel just doesn’t cut it for me. Relaxation to me is a hotel and an hot tub, good food and some antiquing…oh and before you go, check out another giveaway we have going on here.
I’ve camped since I was a little girl (don’t ask how many years!) and just love it. Unfortunately, my hubby of six years doesn’t… :-( Thanks sew much for this chance to win your generous giveaway! :-D

I don’t know if you call travelling in a motor home camping! But we certainly enjoy the mobile comforts of home and can’t wait for it to come out of winter storage!
I am definitely NOT a camper. Wouldn’t be opposed to “camping” in a motor home though.
Not a camper, but I know PLENTY of people who are. Some of them might even like a quilt…
I have been following your blog for sometime and enjoy my visit each time. You and your daughter have a good thing going for you. Your giveaway is indeed fun and cherry. You can forever keep this book for yourself for quilting fun and the Jelly Roll will be a cherry quilt for you to keep. Thank you for the chance to win and your creative mind.

I aren’t really a camper but love going on quilt retreats as at the one I go to you have a bunk and share a room with others. We have had a good summer here in New Zealand but too much today now as son back at school and girls start am Kindy today so this is my time for myself.
I am not camper, but I can sleep everywhere, also on the rock! Hugs Alessandra
I just LOVE when my family goes camping… without me so I can take a bubble bath in peace! I am definitely not a camper ;) Thanks for the giveaway – new follower on fb – congrats on hitting 1000!
I’m with you. I’m not a camper. I want a warm soft bed. I’m now a follower also.
Used to think it was fun to go camping as a kid, but not so much now. But if we had one of those nice motor homes I could probably enjoy “camping” again. LOL.
Thanks for the chance to win. BTW truly enjoy your blog and seeing yours and Kelly’s quilts, and Ruby too.
Im a camper and I would love glamping!
i love camping, i love my tent and cooking over a fire, falling asleep to the sounds of the night.
I don’t do well camping, hotels are my thing!
Definitely not a camper. Thanks for the chance to win.
Camping is a wonderful way to just relax. thanks for such a lovely gift.
I used to camp a lot. Tent and sleeping bags. No more. But I have a lot of fond memories. Tried to click on FB so I could follow but I couldnt open it. Hmmm!!
Thanks for this fabulous give a way
Love your giveaway, and yes, I’m a camper. We have a motorhome and have travelled across Canada and up to the Yukon and Alaska….with my sewing machine….
I Am Not A Camper.Give Me A Good Bed. Thank You For A Chance To Win Your Giveaway.
I am NOT a camper! I need running water, electricity and a comfy bed with air conditioning!
I am a camper and backpacker and I love it. I love just being outside and away from noise and crowds. Now I am getting to share the love with my kids. My son’s first camping trip was at 2 months old! Thanks for the chance!
I was a girl scout, so I know how to camp. I would rather not, but somethimes I do for my husband’s sake.
Thanks for the chance to win. I went camping last fall, but finding the ground a lot harder now than when I was younger.
I’m with you – no camping for me! Thanks for the chance.
Wow – great prize package… I love the gals over at Missouri Star Quilt Company…. I even subscribe to their youtube channel. The fabric is awesome. Lots and lots of quilters have commented – so the chances are slim – but not problems… I am glad to find your blog!
Jo,
We were great campers when we were kids but I love my creature comforts as an adult- no camping for me now. I do love to go to the mountains and stay in a cabin or hotel.
The fabrics are fun and so is your blog. I am a follower of your blog and your facebook page.
Thanks for the chance to win such a nice prize. I am sure you are going to meet lots of new quilty friends during the hop.
Regards from Alberta,
Anna
No not a camper here…too many bugs for me.
I’ve outgrown my interest in camping, preferring a nice soft bed & hot water available on demand!
I love camping but we use a tent on a trailer (called a camper trailer but there are many different variations). It has a queen mattress on the trailer and room for the children on stretchers on the floor.
PS – you can still camp – just say you will only sleep under 5 stars!!
We go camping once a year with my husband’s family, but this year I will have a 2 week-old baby, so I probably won’t be staying overnight. :) Thanks for a lovely giveaway!
I have gone camping. Loved it as a Girl Guide. Did camping with our couples group for several years. Something wierd always happened to us. We go to a cottage each year which is surrounded by woods. It is sort of camping with better amenities and no neighbours so close by. lol
I totally agree with you! no camping for me, just a nice hotel :)
For sure a camper. Love time with my adult children and no tv. Long walks with grands and memorable teaching moments. Its all about family time for me. So, ready for spring and thanks for the chance to get a great start with these prizes.
I’m a camper! I just (yesterday) finished a hand applique quilt for our camper. I think it turned out really nice. Camp theme with a tree, fish, fishin pole, bears, picnic basket, our camp trailer etc….
Thanks for the chance to win.
yes! i love camping and campfires, hiking, the trees!
I haven’t been camping in years. I wouldn’t mind going again sometime.
Thanks!
I’m with you. A hot shower and a hotel bed! I do have a fire pit in my backyard so I can enjoy that aspect without camping. Great giveaway – thanks for the chance.
I camped as a kid, all over the US. Now I want a bed and hot water/bathroom without having to get a flashlight and walk to it!

Definitely not a camper!
Im a camper, well we have a RV/Motorhome so it’s sorta semi luxury camper, would not do the tent thing EVER
I was a camper with my parents but since I have been married….32 years I have never been camping:)
thanks so much for the giveaway–no I am definitely not a camper–I too like my own bed or a motel bed.
I love camping. My best childhood memories are of camping trips, and my husband and I kept up the tradition with our family. Although some would say that our later camping with satellite hookup was not truly camping! Thanks for an awesome give away!
I do enjoy camping, not as much as I used too. I may need to switch to glamping.
Yes, I am a camper. Started in Girl Scouts and continued after I got married and the kids came along. Wonderful family times. Couldn’t go without my air mattress and a bath house near-by.
1,026 yep you made your goal, congrats.
I use to camp when the kids were still at home.. cheap vacation.. they liked sleeping in a tent, I liked sleeping in my custom van.. had a table in the back that made into a bed.. yep that was my way to camp…
I’m not a camper. I love the view of the outdoors- just not the bugs, the heat (or cold), or dirt. I’m girly like that. Thanks for participating in the Quilters’ Blog Hop Party.
I would love to camp but don’t. Thanks for a great giveaway! Have a Happy Day! :)
I’m not really a camper. I don’t mind a caravan or tent but it needs to be in a park with toilet and shower facilities. I’m not into just going out bush without some of the comforts of home!
I love to camp. I had never been before, and my husband took me when we first got married. I love to sit out under the trees and sew/embroider/quilt. I am looking for a
hand crank sewing machine to take with me in the future. Thanks for the chance to
win!

Thank you for the giveaway! I love that line of fabric. I am NOT a camper since the time I was 7 and my Dad said “look, this road looks like nobody uses it!” and then broke down and left my sister and I waiting by the car for 4 hours ;)
I’ll take a trailer anyday though!
Ich mag Kurzurlaube im Wohnmobil…
Danke für die tolle Verlosung
grüße aus Deutschland

I live in a rustic cabin, far into the woods. So its like camping all the time ! I,d rather have a nice plush hotel vacation.
We think alike! I would love to win your magazine and glamping jelly roll! I am a camper! In tents would love to get a camper someday!
I’ve only been camping twice. Definitely out of my comfort zone, but I enjoyed it!
I prefer a hotel but we camp, my husband loves it!
I’m with you, roughing it is when the hotel is not quite as nice as I had hoped! Haha! But I’d love to win and create something with those cute fabrics!
I camped with my family every year when I was a kid, and I’ve gone camping a few times with my husband both with/without our kids along. Without kids is definitely easier! Now my husband and I are old and creaky so we need real beds to sleep in. :)
I am SOOOO not a camper. I always say, “I do NOT do bugs and dirt”. This girl needs a shower and a bed.
I’m not a camper but I could be if I had the opportunity! Thanks for the chance to win!
I’m anything but a camper! I need a nice, clean spider free bed and a toilet to be able to enjoy a holiday =)
Thanks a lot for the chance to win such a lovely price!
Hi and thank you for a wonderful give away! I’m not fan of camping but holidays in a summer cottage on a Finnish lake would be great. Sunny wishes from Greece!
nerospost(at)gmail(dot)com
I love camping. My husband unfortunately has not had pleasant experiences so he is a home body. Isn’t that the cutest line of fabric!
I’m a Follower..I camp in a small trailer w/a bathroom, sink, microwave, heater, ac, tv, frig, etc.
It is more comfy than sleeping on the ground in a tent. I love your Giveaway!
My husband summarized it best. He says his idea of camping is “Motel 6.” Thanks for a great giveaway!
Camping – we started out with cots under the stars, bought a tent, then an outfitted van. Then right after our 2nd child, Daddy bought a lakehouse. That was the end of camping for me. I like my A/C, showers, king-size bed, microwave & cable TV. We inherited Daddy’s lakehouse and have since upgraded to a bigger place with room for the kids, their spouses and our 3 grandkids. Thanks for the giveaway! Glamping is so cute.
Nope not a camper. Did my stint as a Brownie leader and that was enough.
We are such campers that we moved to the most temperate climate in Canada so we can camp 9 months of the year! BUT, entering our 40s now, we have finally decided to ditch the ground tent and invest in a tent trailer. I know, livin’ in the lap of luxury!
Great giveaway! Those fabrics are gorgeous! I could find a project for those in an instant!
Be sure to check out my blog hop giveaway too at http://www.brandylynndesigns.blogspot.com

Definitely not a camper – it’s hotel all the way, lol!
I do like to camp. Thanks for the great giveaway.
We love camping (in our popup)
Yes, I’m a camper. I love to camp! Thanks for the lovely giveaway and for participating in the blog hop.
yes, i am a camper, we started when we were too poor for any vacation any other way. :)
Camping? No thanks! I really like a bed, warm, soft and indoors! I like gardening and I use to hike a little but my hiking days are now more like just walking a nice walking path. Getting old. Thank you for the great giveaway(s). Hope I win!
No, not a camper at all! You couldn’t pay me with fabric even to go on a camping trip! LOL! You have a marvelous giveaway!!
I am not a camper, I have only been once.
I only “day” camp…. like to walk around and enjoy daytime outside. But sleep in a clean and quiet hotel!

We used to camp when the Kiddo’s were little…all grown up now…so haven’t camped in long while. Love Mary Jane Butters!! Know about her Glamping & all…I get her Magazine’s! :)
Hi, thanks for being part of the Hop. I used to go camping every weekend till I hurt my back and all that stopped. I went a few more times after that but every one had to do my work and I just felt like I was in the way so I stopped going.
I am definitely not a camper) Thanks for the giveaway!
camping? No way! The thought makes my blood run cold – where would I plug in my hairdrier and sewing machine??
What a fabulous giveaway – thanks for the chance to win such a lovely prize.
We go camping regularly – often for events with the Citroen 2CV car club! It has been a great way to see many European countries and to be able to afford holidays when the kids were small.
We used to go camping when the kids were little but don’t do much of it anymore.
I don’t really know if I’m a camper or not. I really like the idea of it, but I haven’t gotten around to actually trying it. It seems a lot easier to just make a reservation at a hotel… :)
camping for me is motel 6. I love being outside in the woods, but when it comes time to sleep I want a bed and bathroom!!!!
I’ve never been a big “tent” camper, but we would go up to our family’s “camp,” a cabin at the top of the mountain with no running water and electricity run on car batteries!! I loved it. I haven’t been up there in a long time.
I like camping in my camper. Refuse to sleep In A tent, though.
Nope, me and camping don’t get along. And believe me, I tried a few times over the 35 years I’ve been married (yup, wouldn’t you know–I fell in love with an outdoorsman).
:o)

Thanks for the opportunity to win such a lovely gift. We have camped forever and currently – for the past 20 years – have helped out at a campsite.
My friend in Scotland goes camping in her caravan (pull along trailer for USA people) and this fabric would be terrific.
Thank you for the opportunity to enter the drawing!
I am a camper and have been since I was a little girl. My kids absoutely love it. Luckily my husband is a great outdoorsman because we tent it. So it’s the real deal. Thank you for the chance to enter.
I loved to camp when my kids where young. Now my back couldn’t take it. Give me a bed and a bath anytime.
lol! Great question! Every year my husband’s uncle has a ‘Pasture Party’ and people bring their RVs to camp out for the weekend. We don’t have a RV so we put up a tent. My hubby stays with our girls – I drive the 5 minutes home and sleep comfortably in my bed for the night :) Thanks for the chance to win!
I only camp in travel trailers. When the kids were young we had a pop up. Thanks for the chance to win.
i detest camping!! prefer an actual “roof” over my head! thanks for the opportunity.
I liked it when I was a kid, but I’m not sure my back could take a sleeping bag in a tent any more!
Hiya, we camp each summer for New Year at a place called Te Anau here in New Zealand. It is smaller than Queenstown, less crowded than Wanaka and has a lake for fishing and waterskiing (though the weather can be up and down!!) Cheers!
Oh yes I’m a camper. You can’t live in beautiful sunny South Africa and not experience the great outdoors. We love sailing and hiking for relaxation. We live on a farm and have horses, pot bellied pigs, dogs and cats – and many other creepy crawlies!!! Thank you for your generous giveaway. You now have 1052 followers on Facebook. Congrats, you have a super blog.
Totally a camper. Made better by the fact that my hubby is an early riser and will make expresso and hand it into the tent while I’m still warm and comfy in my sleeping bag. After decades of mountaineering and backpacking, car camping feels plush.
I don’t do camping. Camping is a bad hotel experience. I would rather be sewing or sleeping in my own bed.
