Auction Time for You! Bidding Starts NOW!

**We are aware of the “DOVE” ad and are trying to fix it**  Please try viewing in a browser other than Chrome**

We had such a good response to last week’s auction and I have lots here that needs to find new homes so I decided to have another auction this weekend too!!  If there wasn’t something for you last week, hopefully there will be something this week that is more tempting.

Bidding guidelines:
Bids must be entered in the comment section.  PLEASE  WRITE THE NAME OF THE ITEM, THE ITEM NUMBER AND THEN THE AMOUNT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY.  If you are the winner of the bid, the postage amount will be added on to your ending bid price.  You can pay via Paypal.  I will also accept personal check but check will have to clear before merchandise is sent.  Bidding will close at NOON Central Time on Monday.  I will send a confirmation email to the winning bidder later in the day on Monday. Then hopefully bids can be paid and I can package the items up and get them in the mail on as soon as possible.  If you do bid please watch your email so we can take care of the correspondence efficiently.

Item #1
Embroidered Baby Quilt Top “Once Upon a Time”
33″ x 53″ is the size of the main design-Outer edge is larger.
Cost plus postage of $4

Sorry the lighting on this is terrible.  I’ve tried several times to retake the picture.  It’s gloomy and raining here so the lighting is bad.  It’s a nice white background and the stitching shows up nicely.

The stitching is very nice and good looking.

It would be perfect for any little princess in your life.

Item #2
Days of the Week Set of Flour Sack Stitched Towels with Birds
Cost plus postage of $6

These came from an auction in Fredericksburg Iowa.  The stitching is wonderful.  All of the days are included.  I didn’t notice any flaws or defects.  The towels are good quality towels and not cheapies.

Item #3
Red Christmas Napking Set (to be stitched)
Cost plus postage of $3

This came in a box of goodies from an auction.  Includes four napkins and four placemats.  All need to be stitched.  Thread included.

One napkin was started but not worries, the stitching is GREAT.

Item #4
FIVE feed sacks
Cost plus postage of $6

I picked these up at an auction.  They were in a bag of bedding.  I think they were there as the organizers of the estate mistook them being pillow cases as the stitching is still in place that keeps them looking like a feed sack.  I am also including two pieces of fabric that I do not believe to be feed sacks but vintage fabric that was sewn into pillow cases.

Here they are all laid out.

Item #5
Embroidered Baby Quilt 35 x 57
Cost plus postage of $7

This is an embroidered baby quilt.  It is a pale yellow.

The alphabet is across the top

…numbers the bottom.

This quilt is in NEW condition.  It could easily be gifted as a baby present.  In fact I thought about giving it to one of the upcoming grand babies but decided against it as I want to only give things made by me.

This was a pre-quilted, pre-printed project.  This is the backing.  The stitching is done nicely.

Item #6
Embroidered baby quilt top 32 x 49
Cost plus postage of $4

This is nicely stitched and would make a wonderful baby quilt!!  I can’t say enough good things about the work the lady who stitched this did.

The photo make the white look a little dull but that’s not true.  It’s a bright white.  I took the photos on a dreary rainy day.

Item #7
Stitched Pillow Piece
Cost plus postage of $3

This is gorgeous in person.  It is intended to be a pillow but isn’t finished.

The work is AMAZING.  It is 11 1/2 x 11/2.

Item #8
Diamond shapped Yo Yo Pillow  9 x 11
Cost plus postage of $3

Again the guidelines:
Bids must be entered in the comment section.  PLEASE  WRITE THE NAME OF THE ITEM, THE ITEM NUMBER AND THEN THE AMOUNT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY.  If you are the winner of the bid, the postage amount will be added on to your ending bid price.  You can pay via Paypal.  I will also accept personal check but check will have to clear before merchandise is sent.  Bidding will close at NOON Central Time on Monday.  I will send a confirmation email to the winning bidder later in the day on Monday. 1. DOVE won’t let me look at anything. I see a glimpse and then the ad covers and I go down to see the next and it’s repeat. I’ll try later and maybe that thing will have gone away.

  2. Ladies try clicking on the PDF file and read the blog in PDF! I have done that in the past but haven’t had any popup ads in months. I hope this helps!

  3. Don’t know if anyone else let you know, but the ad is in Edge (Microsoft) as well. I cleared my cookies last night, restarted this morning, and for now the ad is gone. I know other blogs are having the same issue.
