***BIDDING HAS CLOSED***Thanks for bidding.
Now that Hubby and Kalissa have their antique booth I can put some stuff in the booth too. It’s been great. It’s allowed me to clean out some stuff that I’ve picked up over the years but fell out of love with, found something I liked better or never found that perfect spot for.
I had a little stack of it that was quilting related. I was getting ready to mark it and then thought, maybe you blog readers would like a chance at the things first.
We’ve done an auction here before so let’s try that again. Here’s the guidelines:
Bids must be entered in the comment section. PLEASE NAME THE ITEM NAME AND THEN THE AMOUNT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY. If you are the winner of the bid, the postage amount will be added on to your ending bid price. You can pay via Paypal. I will also accept personal check but check will have to clear before merchandise is sent. Bidding will close at NOON Central Time on Monday. I will send a confirmation email to the winning bidder later in the day on Monday. Then hopefully bids can be paid and I can package the items up and get them in the mail on Tuesday.
So…First up is item #1 a Quilt TOP (top only -unfinished)
This is a fun utility quilt. What the maker had is what she put in the quilt. Seeing it truly makes me smile.
The tops is 68 x 87″. Post of $7 will be added to the total.
I picked this up thinking I would use it for inspiration to make a top. Then haven’t gotten to it.
I thought about finishing it and then decided that I have enough of my own tops I need to finish. It’s time to let someone else love it.
Item #2 a set of 54 embroidered quilt blocks. All fifty of the United States are represented. There are 4 extra blocks including Guam, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and District of Columbia. Postage for these is $7.
The stitching on these is amazing. The designs are seen even though tiny.
The work is very detailed.
I picked the Iowa blocks to show off as I’m an Iowa girl.
The work on these is first class.
These are the four extra blocks that bring the total block number to 54.
Next up…. Item number 3…a set of NINE embroidered blocks. They would make a great baby quilt. Postage for these is $4.
The background fabric is more of a cream than white-white. The stitching on these also AMAZING.
The last item is item number 4. There are 4 of these blocks. All wonderfully stitched. Postage for these is $3.
Here is one of these blocks. Back ground on these is white.
That’s it for this time around…
