Auction Time: Bid Up

I found some goodies when I was out and about.  Some are fun collectibles…some are projects for you to do…some are useful things.  I hope you find something that might be of interest to you.  If there is something you are ever really wanting, let me know..I can be on the look out for it.

Here’s the guidelines:
Bids must be entered in the comment section.  PLEASE  WRITE THE NAME OF THE ITEM, THE ITEM NUMBER AND THEN THE AMOUNT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY.  If you are the winner of the bid, the postage amount will be added on to your ending bid price.  You can pay via Paypal.  I will also accept personal check but check will have to clear before merchandise is sent.  Bidding will close at NOON Central Time on Monday.  I will send a confirmation email to the winning bidder later in the day on Monday. Then hopefully bids can be paid and I can package the items up and get them in the mail on Tuesday.  If you do bid please watch your email so we can take care of the correspondence efficiently.

On to the bidding.

First up is this super cute little needle case.  I know lots of you collect vintage sewing things.  It’s so cute.

Item #1 Vintage Needle Case + $5 shipping.

Needles go here.

Item #2 Doll Quilt + $5 shipping.

The backing is a simple white fabric.  It has the super soft well loved feel to it.

Item #3  Feed sack fabric + $4 postage.
Nothing has been been cut from the fabric.  It is yellow and white stripe with pinkish flowers.
UPDATE:  Question about this.  The feed sack is 40″ x 36″.

Item #4 Stamped Quilt Blocks + $7 postage
New un-opened packages of stamped quilt blocks for embroidery.

Listing from the back of package says 2 packages can make a double sized quilt.

Item #5 is Embroidered Panel with Circus Animal + $6 postage
Panel is already embroidered and ready for you to make into a quilt.  The sleeping elephant is dreaming of riding a ferris wheel.  So CUTE!  The center design is 34″ x 51″.

The work of the embroiderer is awesome.

Item #6 is Embroidered Panel with Moon + $6 postage
Panel is already embroidered and ready for you to make into a quilt.  The saying is “I love you to the moon and back”.  The center design is 33″ x 48″. Colors are blue, green and yellow.  Doesn’t seem boyish or girlish.  Great for gender neutral.

Item #7  Cutter Quilt +$12 postage
This quilt is 70″ x 75 1/2″.  Although it looks pretty good in the pictures, this is a cutter (or saver) quilt.  The blocks could be taken apart and put into another quilt.  This is tied so deconstruction would be easy.

The alternate block fabric isn’t in the best shape.  Some blocks are fine but others show wear.

This is the worst spot in the quilt.

I know there are many of you out there who are cutting or saving quilts.  I “saved” this one with the hope that one of you could put it to use.  For someone with a quilt collection this could be folded so that no damage is shown.

Item #8 Blue Quilt +$13 postage
This quilt is 65″ x 83 1/2″.  The quilt is in good shape except for the edge of the quilt.  It’s frayed at the top and bottom.

The blocks are kind of fun…one that I don’t typically see.

The work on this was done well.

The blue alternate blocks have a hand quilted star in them.  For someone with a quilt collection this could be folded so that no damage is shown.

Item #9 Printed Farm Blocks + $6 shipping
As shown panel with 20 printed blocks.  I believe this was designed to be colored in.  I thought it would be a great grandma/grand child project.  Let the kids color the blocks with fabric crayons or markers and together make a quilt.

The blocks are really cute.

Two blocks have coloring in them.  I believe it was done with a fabric paint.

There are 18 uncolored blocks so one larger quilt could be make with them…or two baby quilts could be make with them.  as shown in the photo below the blocks are 13″ x 13″.

Item #10 + $6 shipping
Set of Sears sewing machine attachment feet.  Book included on how to use the feet.

The coveted seam allowance bumper is included.

I had hoped to get some 100% cotton shirts processed but that didn’t happen yet.  Hopefully for the next auction…and no, I didn’t get that Featherweight gone through either.  Soon I hope.
