The say “all good things much come to an end”. I don’t know if that is true but I do know that we are going to sell the chicken building and the chickens whenever we can find a buyer.
We have loved the chickens. We have loved our little building.
We just know that we can’t move them all to town and being we’re going to be so busy with the house, we decided it’s best if we sell them now.
There is a young family who is looking at them and the building.
I sure hope they take them because then, I know kids will be there to learn and take care of them.
It’s a little hard but in the end, it’s best for the chickens to go where they will get good care and be loved. Right now, Waucoma doesn’t have a ruling on chickens in town..so maybe, just maybe, we’ll have to investigate getting a small three chicken coop and have chickens in town. We’ll just see how the house goes and how lonely I am without them.
Good things do end, but there are also new beginnings. You have a great adventure ahead of you.
There’s a website called backyard chickens that has small chicken coop photos. My sons made me a chicken chalet. It was an A frame with the run underneath. We would let them roam also some in the evenings. We started out with 5 chickens, but one died. It was a lot of fun.
