Adding a binding

Here’s a little sneak peek at a project I’m working on for Moda Bake Shop.

I can tell you a few things about it. It is made with the fabric line Oink a Doodle Moo.

Just two more sides to bind and I’ll be finished.

  1. HI Jo,
Could you please do a post on how you do your binding. Hand stitching is killing me and would love to know how to do it on the machine.
    Thanks, Michelle
p.s. I just got the fq bundle and I absolutely LOVE it. YAY! Im so excited. Thank you again. I cant wait to use it.

  2. Am anxiously awaiting your pattern–my one year old grandson’s bedroom is all farmy and I have been wanting to make him a quilt. That one looks like it has his name on it!!!!

  3. Me, too! I’d like to see how you do your binding by machine. I have attempted it a couple of times but I am just not satisfied with the results. Maybe I just need more practice but would sure like to see how you do it.

    Another Iowan ……

  4. Yep. I’m in line to see how you do your binding. I am just now trying to figure out how to get a good looking machine binding. I work forever getting the hand stitched bindings done and it hurts. Do you stitch to the front and fold to the back or stitch to the back and fold to the front?

I hope you will do a quick tutorial about machine binding. I would very much like to see your method because it looks so slick in the picture. Thanks. Daisy
