I got a quilt finished this week…my Bargello in Plaid. I also quilted THREE other small quilt tops that all need binding. I am so happy to have something finished (or almost finished).
Believe it or not but I still have TWO more quilts that are ready for the quilt machine. I am hoping to find some time to work on them this week. I really want to be all caught up with machine quilting….but then, I have two more quilts that just need borders and they will be ready to go. I guess as long as I am quilting, I may not ever be truly caught up…but that’s okay. Just getting a few done has been GREAT!!
I don’t count quilts fabric out until a project is completely finished including binding. The Bargello in Plaid was all recycled fabric except a small about and the binding. I only keep out numbers on that so that’s why the number are as is.
So my official numbers are…
Used this Week: 1 yards
Used year to Date: 34 yards
Added this Week: 0 yards
Added Year to Date: 33.5 yards (12 from Moda)
Net Used for 2012: .5 Yards of store bought fabric…14 yards of recycled fabric…
Hopefully next week I will have at least one of those quilts bound and that means more moving numbers!!

I have to smile when I see stash reports. I’m up in Virginia Beach caring for my grandkids and I have no sewing machine . And yet, I still manage to take in fabric. My dd took me to the goodwill where they sell by the pound and I bought and cut up 8 shirts to take home with me. Plus, I bought a bunch of Christmas panels at a yard sale. I think I’m hopeless. And I haven’t told dh yet. ;-)
A very productive week! I know what you mean, I still have 35 quilt tops of my own that need quilting but that number never really goes down because I keep making tops! LOL! It will never end. What type of batting do you use?

I count my stash “out” the same way – if a project is DONE done, completely finished, then it gets to go in the “used” column. Not before!
Impressed!
Love all of your quilts…I also have an Accuquilt Studio and Go…Love it except for when I make squares. they never come out like squares and the large the worse they are. Very disppointed when doing square and would not recomend for that, But for Circles, tumblers, strips, other shapes…its wonderful.
