A New Addition…EXCITING NEWS!!..and for sale.

On Friday Kelli and I went to o2bQuilting in Spring Valley, Minnesota.

If you can’t guess by the pictures, it’s a APQS dealer….well it’s more than an APQS dealer.  Lucy who owns the shop has machines for rent and she has her own long arm business.

You can take your quilt top there and rent a machine and quilt it yourself….or you can have her quilt it for you…or you can buy a machine.

I opted with the last choice.  Yep, that’s right.  I caved and bought a new quilting machine.  I ended up with a Lucey.

It’s the best machine that does not have all the bells and whistles.  I am not a bells and whistles girl.  I am so excited.  It won’t be here for a bit.  Hopefully that will give me time to sell my Pfaff Grand Quilter and Next Generation Frame…and clean the room.  UGH.  It’s going to be a big job!!

If anyone is interested in my machine, let me know.  I am asking $1400 for it and I live in Wauoma, Iowa.  Shipping or picking it up would be your responsibility.  Email me with questions…rogjok@iowatelecom.net

I was willing to keep working with this one but Hubby really insisted that I get something else and he’s probably right.  In the meantime, I am off to start some reorganization.

  1. You. Will. Love. It. No doubt about it. I’m so glad I bought my Gammill Premier when I did. No more fighting to quilt on my DSM. No need to fight with a smaller quilting machine. You will be so glad you got it.

  2. Well someone’s going to have fun! Let us know when you come up for air! :) I’m too far from Iowa and don’t have a room big enough to house a quilting machine, but I imagine you’ll have a long line forming to give it a new home.

  3. How exciting for you! And it’s great that your DH is so supportive of your quilting. Any reason you picked APQS over Grammill? Or was the shop just closest?

  4. Jo I’m so envious, Lucey is beautiful and you will be able to do so much with her. I have a Grand Quilter also and although I love her I feel a bit limited in the designs I can quilt because of the arm length. I dream of the day I can afford a “longer” arm quilting machine. Have fun!!

  5. Oh you are so lucky! I have the Pfaff Grand Quilter and the same stand. It is a great machine, and does even queen sized fairly well. Great for someone who really doesn’t have all of the room for a long arm. (which I don’t)
