I have had the stitching done on this project for some time. Â Then I hunted for a frame but no luck. Â I am a cheapskate so I ended up buying a frame at our thrift store for $1. Â I had Hubby cut it to the size I wanted. Â I painted it and then it sat and sat.
I didn’t finish it when all I had to do was frame it!! Â Why do I do that???
Well as I was cleaning the sewing room, I found it again and believe it or not, I put it in the frame.
Can you believe it took about 10 minutes to do. Â Why, oh why do I wait??
Well now it’s hanging up and I am enjoying it now! Â Better late than never they say….

It’s a beautiful finish, Jo! I tend to do the same thing at times. There are just too many projects vying for our attention. :)
Thanks for linking up to finish it up Friday!
Beautiful finish!
I think we all do that at some point or another! :) Lovely finished project.
Looks great! Nice warm wool decor for our midwest winter.
I don’t know why you wait to finish a project but if you find out, please tell me as I do it too! And then kick myself mentally that I didn’t get it done earlier to begin enjoying it sooner! Ugh, such is life.
I had never thought of buying a frame and cutting it to size. What a good idea.
I love this wall hanging. Being a former preschool teacher, I have always been drawn to anything with the alphabet. Beautiful!
Oh I love this ! I bought a kit for this about 2 years ago and I haven’t opened it! Now I may have too — thanks for the inspiration!
Gorgeous!! And SCORE on the frame…it’s perfect!!
