A post from Kelli–
I have some strange tendencies (which you may have already noticed). One of those tendencies is that I tend to get a bit obsessive about things. Recently, I went to through a phase where I was obsessed with making doll clothes. I loved purchasing patterns and then finding clothes at the thrift store to recreate the outfits. Below are two of the outfits I recently finished.
The outfit Kit (sitting) is wearing is a peasant skirt and top. I added the little Ugg type boots with little zippers up the side and boy are they cute. Kirsten is wearing a bathrobe with matching pants and shirt that was repurposed from a pair of flannel pants that Kalissa had given me. The bunny slippers are a favorite of mine as well. I didn’t make them.  I did discover a treasure trove of American Girl doll sized shoes on Amazon and caved to the pressure.  Here is a link for the White Bunny Slippers. Fit 18″ Dolls like American Girl®  and here is a link for 18 Inch Doll Boots fits American Girls Doll, Tan Suede Style with White Sherpa Lining and Zippers for easy Doll Dress Play, Tan Suede Boots
. Â I did recently purchase a pattern for doll shoes, so stay tuned! Â Shoe making is my next adventure.
Today, I am hooking up with……Confessions of a Fabric Addict, Link a Finish Friday, Freedom Fridays and Crazy Mom Quilts.
Cute doll clothes. Thank you for the link to the shoes. My granddaughters are going to love them (especially the purple Uggs).
Nope, not getting involved with dolls and doll clothes. Nope, not doing it. No, no, no!!!
…[sigh]…
Oh, my!!! We have some crazy addictions, don’t we? Mine is hexies … love ’em!
How cute! I especially love Kit’s outfit!

You’re going to need some doll tennis shoes, too. What well dressed doll doesn’t have a pair?
