Home. Exhausted. Happy and Sad.

I am sleeping like a baby.  I am SO-SO pooped from my week in Cincinnati at the International Quilt Show with the Country Threads girls.

I got home from Cincinnati to a house of company and bad news.  Hubby’s mom is not doing well.  We aren’t expecting her to live long.  I’ll tell you more later.

I don’t have a “Try it on Tuesday” post ready to go…I hope you’ll all understand that right now, I just need to sleep in my own bed and regroup.  Stop by later and I’ll be awake and ready to chat.  In the meantime, hop over and check out the Moda Bake Shop quilt and giveaway.  I’ll pick a winner later too.

  1. I super love the red quilt. Lovely, lovely. Even lovelier would be to own that fabric so I can make it! What a great snuggly blanket for 2 =)

  2. Wellcome Home, Jo! I’m sure you had a great time at the show! So sorry to hear about your MIL. Prayers for you and the family! Be well and take care of yourself!

  3. Jo — Please take care of yourself. We (your cyber-fans) will all survive and completely understand that family comes first. Praying for you. Annie

  4. You take all the time you need. You’ll be no good to us if you’re tired and cranky. :) We’ll be here when you get back. Sending prayers for your MIL and family during this difficult time. Rest well.
