They say slow and steady wins a race. Well I am definitely slow but I don’t feel like I am winning much.
Here are some of the winners from recent (or not so recent) giveaways.
The beautiful book from Kansas City Star Quilts called “Stories in Stitches: Quilts from the Cass County Quilt Documentation Project” by Jenifer Dick, Carol Bohl, Linda Hommontree and Janice Britz goes too…..
Julie in WA who said, “Oh, I would love this book! The oldest quilts I have are two that I picked up at yard sales. One is a huge top that needs a few repairs, then sandwiched and quilted. The other is a top that someone else had started to take apart (WHY???) so someday I will try to put it back together. The oldest finished quilt is the only one my mom made, and it is a dolly quilt made from old plaid pants.”
From Clover I have a package of Jumbo Wonder Clips for Knitters or Crocheters….
The winner is….Dorothy Matheson who said, “I would love to try the crochet/knit version of the clips. I have been using the quilting ones to clip the hexagons together that will make a rosette. Yes I think they are great. I am making baby quilts and flannel blankets for a great grand baby due next March. My daughters 4 th grand child. My mother is still alive so she is a great great grandmother 4 times. Love it. She helps with the quilts and pays for the flannel for those blankets that I do a simple crochet around.”
That’s all of the winners for now. If you are looking for other giveaways, check out this week’s Try it on Tuesday for the book Making Quilts or check out the $100 VISA gift card from Glidden and BlogHer.
