My goal this month was for Patchwork Times UFO challenge was to finish the top for my Block of the Month project. Â I got further along then I expected as it’s in the quilt machine. Â I was happily quilting along yesterday and I ran out of thread. Â Like most of the country, the weather here is not ideal so I can’t get to town to get more thread so, you’ll just have to see it as is…
I am not doing any fancy quilting. Â I just want it finished. Â I am using a gold thread and so far am loving the look. Â The machine is working wonderfully too.
For next month Judy picked #10. Â Well #10 is super simple for me…a hand project…my trivet. Â It will be a nice change to have an easy project because this one was INTENSE. Â I only had three blocks done when I started so I had LOTS of work. Â Being my number ten project is easy, I am adding a few things to February as personal goals…
1. Â Finish quilting and bind the quilt in the machine.
2. Â Quilt and bind my Roll, Roll Cotton Ball.
3. Â Finish my trivet kit…UFO #10
I hope to get a few other things done too but I also have taxes to do UGH!
Head on over to Patchwork Times and see everyone’s progress on their January Challenge project.
looking nice. Hope your weather is not too harsh :) I would not mind a snow day here, but there is no chance.
Gold thread….its beautiful :) I understand about not being able to go out and get thread. We used to live in Maine. Snow and ice storms make simple errands difficult or impossible. Stay safe and warm :)
Looks great – and I am with you on the INTENSE January UFO pick. Off to the easier February selection.
Oooh, I can tell that’s a beauty, even without a full view of it. Love the autumn colors and I’ll bet the gold thread is the perfect touch. Congrats!
Don’t you hate it when you run out of thread?!? Look forward to seeing it finished!
Can’t wait to see your quilt finished, we are snowed in also. My UFO #10 is just pieced squares so far but I am looking forward to working on it.
Fantastic! Cant wait to see it quilted! :)
