Stash Report

I was thrifting…SURPRISE ( I know it’s not a surprise at all).  These goodies actually came from two different thrift stores.  One rarely has fabric but the last two times I was there they had fabric!!  The other regularly has fabric.

The little bundle was okay.  I pulled what I wanted…everything in the bottom of the photo and will ship the things in the top of the photo on to charity.

This fabric was kind of fun.  I remember seeing it in the early 90s.  I’m pretty sure I had some.  It’s little feed sacks, see?

I grabbed this with the thought that I’d probably make our grand daughter Lucy a pair of Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls next year for her birthday.

I couldn’t resist this piece.  It says 5+ yards for $4.  I measured it and it’s actually just under 6 yards.  Yahoo!!  That will back a quilt!!

I got this piece for 50 cents.  It has the edges turned over and sewn down.  I have no idea why someone did this or what their plan was for the fabric…all I know is I have a project that this might be used on.  Watch for a later update on this one!

None of the fabric was fancy but it was all interesting….and cheap.  I’ll use it up or pass it on.  I feel really good about it all.

Wow that is a great find for 6 yards for 4 bucks!! Yahoo! I really like the blue and yellow check fabric, looking forward to what you have in mind for it.
