On Friday Kelli and I ventured out to Prairie du Chein, Wisconsin. It’s just over an hour drive for me. They have an Aldi’s there and Kelli heard they had gluten free grocery products so she wanted to check it out. I suggested a trip to the quilt shop in town too….The Picket Fence. It’s a cute shop and I’ve been a couple times.
I love the way they display fabric. Each fabric line is displayed together and showcased so nicely. Kelli and I do a lot with Moda so we both found ourselves saying shucks…I love that line. Why didn’t we make something with that line?? Above is Plum Street….we said that about that one.
We both loved the display as we walked in the door….the little farm animal aprons totally caught my eye.
Kelli found herself stopped off and looking at embroidery patterns.
Me…I found myself oogling this fabric.
Then Kelli got stuck at the yarn section too.
…and there was yet another fabric line we should have made something with…..
Typically when I write a blog post with quilt shop tours someone asks me about something in the pictures….You can contact the shop here through their Facebook page with any questions.
We would definitely recommend a trip to visit them.
