Red, White and Ooooh Meets Midnight Hour

I got an email in my inbox the other day from Diane and Carolyn the two gals that own Forest Mills Quilt Shop just outside of Postville, Iowa.  They are great gals and Kelli and I have been working with them for awhile producing quilt kits for two of the quilts we designed.

You might remember our Midnight Hour quilt….

Here’s the magazine it was in…

You might remember our Red, White and Oooh quilt….

It was featured here….

The girls at Forest Mills cut and kitted both of these quilts…now here’s the fun part.  There were a few of the Red, White and Oooh quilt kits left.  They ended up taking one of them, added a couple pieces to it and and came up with this…It’s the Midnight Hour pattern made with the Red, White and Oooh kit.  How fun is that?  We love it in the patriotic colors!!

They ended up modifying the kids so all the yardage is right to make the quilt as seen.  I told Diane and Carolyn that I was sure a few of you would be interested in a kit if there were any more available.  Here’s what she said, “With the magazine included would be $150, just the fabric (no magazine) would be $145. There would be sales tax added for sales to Iowa residents. Free shipping.”

Here is a link to their contact information if you have questions or would like to order.  This would be a perfect project to sew on over the 4th of July weekend!!
