Every month I team up with  U.S. Cellular  and share a little about my phone.  In return U.S. Cellular provides me with the latest phone.  This year they sent me the  Samsung Galaxy S7 Smart Phone.  I had my choice of phones.  I could pick an iPhone or anything I wanted.  I’m not a fan of change so being I had an S6 before, it was an easy choice for me to go with the S7.
Well you know how it goes with a new phone…that means a new phone case. Â I had wonderful luck with my last case so I went back to the same place and ordered one.
This is my old case.
I loved it. Â People commented all the time. Â The childcare kiddos would let me take pictures so much easier because I would point to the case and tell them to “look at Ruby”. Â It was a fun case. Â I knew I wanted to get a case from the same company. Â So I was off trying to figure out a design.
I scrolled though pictures trying to decide which ones I liked and which weren’t the best. Â I sent a couple things I came up with to Kalissa and she said no. Â She suggested I just do the same I did before but how fun is that. Â I played some more and ended up with this….

I ended up liking it. Â The quilt is a Miss Rosie quilt that Kelli made….and, of course, there’s Ruby. Â Originally the case was suppose to take a bit to get here but it came in only a few days. Â That was nice. Â I hate using a phone with no case.
I’ve had a wonderful experience working with MyCustomCase and highly recommend them. Â Their program to design the case is really easy. Â In some cases all you do is put the photos in. Â Easy-peasy. Â It’s a great idea for a gift if you know what kind of phone the person has.
They sent me coupon…..I debated about passing it on or not. Â I don’t want this to seem like an info-mercial…but I also know that I would have appreciated being able to save 25%. Â If anyone is ordering…send me an email and I’ll pass along the 25% off coupon code number to you so you can get 25% off. Â This is the best email, Â rogjok@iowatelecom.net.
I know I like when bloggers tell me about products that they like…
Anyway…new phone, new case and happily, I love the new feature that allows quick and easy transfer of files from phone to phone or phone to computer. Â When my info went from the old phone to the new, most of my apps transferred too…that was AWESOME!!
Anyway…I’m loving my new phone and the new case.
UPDATE:
Samsung has announced an expanded voluntary recall on all original and replacement Galaxy Note7 devices sold or exchanged in the United States in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and in partnership with carriers and retailers. Since the affected devices can overheat and pose a safety risk, Samsung is asking consumers with a Galaxy Note7 to power it down and contact the carrier or retail outlet where they purchased their device.
Â
With the safety of our customers top of mind, U.S. Cellular has ended sales of all Samsung Galaxy Note7 devices. Any U.S. Cellular customer who has a Galaxy Note7 should exchange it for any other device at a U.S. Cellular store or return it for a full refund.
Â
As a gesture of goodwill, U.S. Cellular provided all of its Note7 customers with a $25 bill credit when the initial recall was announced. At this time, customers who return any Note7 and exchange it for a different Samsung smartphone will receive an additional $75 bill credit. To inform customers to return their devices, we are sending SMS messages and mailed letters to all of our Note7 customers. Â
U.S. Cellular customers who have questions regarding their Note7 device can contact their local U.S. Cellular store or call Customer Service at 1-888-944-9400.
Jo, I know you don’t watch much television, but have you heard the news about the new Samsung phone? Be careful. I believe it is under a recall because they have been blowing up on people. Please google the latest news on your model. I am pretty sure is is the 7 that has been giving people trouble. The batteries over heat and are blowing up. One man lost his jeep when he was charging it in his vehicle. Another person said the phone sit itself on fire when he placed it in his pant pocket. Another person the phone blew up on the nightstand as it was charging. The airlines are asking passengers to power their phones off if they have that model.
What a fun phone case! Thanks for sharing that idea. And yes, do check and see if your phone is the one they are recalling. I was just on a trip and I cannot tell you how many times I heard them repeat the announcements about the phones and the battery fires on our planes and even airport wide announcements. Yikes!
Samsung phones, the newest ones are exploding because of the batteries. It is all over the news. Hope it’s not the model you have!!
Yes one of the Samsung 7 phones is starting on fire or exploding. Check with them because they said to stop using immediately.
