My Quilt Square for February

The end of the month is quickly approaching.  How are you coming along on your quilt squares for the Quilt Square Quilt Along.  I spent last night finishing my February blocks and I cut out my March blocks.  Here they are….

I absolutely LOVE them.  It is so rewarding to start and finish something over a day a two.  I had a little trouble picking out binding for the one on the table…then hubby said the rust color.  He was right.  I had tried green and black and neither looked good.

I have gotten so many questions about the wire type stand that holds the quilts.  The are made by Ackfeld Manufacturing.  You can order directly from them by following the link.  The good news is that they have given me a stand to will be give away on the 29th to one of the quilt square participants.  How’s that for motivation to get your quilt square finished?

If you are sending me a picture of your quilt square please get it to me by the 27th so I can get the pictures formatted and ready for the big show.

Today I am linking with Confession of a Fabric Addict, Pieceful Life, and Crazy Mom’s Finish it up Fridays.  If you’re stopping here from one of those places you might want to check out the “Back to Charm School” quilt book give away I am hosting.

  1. Love them both! The rust binding is the perfect choice. I am working on my square and will definitely have it done by the 29th. Looking forward to seeing what block is next :)

Jo as I stated above I’m having problems sending in photos. I guess I need to reduce the size before sending. I just sent in my Feb. Quilt Along by email. It would be so nice if you could let me know if you got my email / photo or not. Sorry to be a pest.

  15. Karen says:

I finally finished my February’s block. Better late than never.
