Microwave Chocolate Chip Cookie

I have been trying to not eat as many sweets so I have been baking less….and our daughter Kalissa has been baking more.  Her current favorite is this microwave chocolate chip cookie in a mug.

It has been her after school snack for the last few days.

Here’s the recipe:
1 T butter melted
1 T sugar
1 T brown sugar
3 drop of vanilla
1 egg yolk
1/4 c flour
chocolate chips to your liking

Melt the butter in a microwavable cup or mug.  Add the rest of the ingredients.  Stir really, really well.  Microwave for 1 minute (We have a low watt microwave so you might want to try a little less time if yours in a higher wattage)  EAT!!

Kalissa likes her’s with Reddi Whip on top and a glass of milk.

It tastes great.  It’s quick and easy and it keeps treats out of my reach which is why I love this recipe lots…It’s What Works for Me!

OMGoodness but this sounds delish and wicked! I will try this. Thank you.
Has your DD made the “Choco Cake in a Mug” recipe? There’s a copy of it on my blog. Look for the label ‘recipe’ to find it.

I’m hankering for something sweet and your blog title simply could NOT be avoided tonight. Sounds delicious, EVEN THOUGH I really, really, really, really don’t need it.

Looks yummy! I make the Brownie-in-a-mug recipe whenever I have that chocolate craving. The recipe says to microwave for 90 seconds, but 42 seconds in my microwave is plenty.

But boy does that look good.

Living in a household with 2 diabetics (DH is type 1 and I and type 2), I don’t do alot of baking, either, My girls are another matter. They are begging me to forward this to them. I know that they will be making these today. Thanks for the recipe and the ability to make “Just say no” without depriving the rest of the household a little easier. :o)
