Why are they called “pet mesh bags”….well, they are made from pet mesh.  Never heard of pet mesh?  Well we hadn’t either until we met Kim at a Bonnie Hunter retreat.  Pet Mesh is a plastic screen product that people use in place of screen in places where their pets might destroy regular screen.  Here is an Amazon link to the product in case you can’t find it in your area.  New York Wire 70587 Pet D-Fence Screening, 36-Inch by 84-Inch.  Don’t worry about sewing with in on your machine, it’s not a problem at all.

The bags are lots of fun to make and honestly, quick.  I love that we can see through the mess into the bag.  If you have a little guy, these would be perfect to hold a dinosaur collection or hot wheel collection.  Girls would love a bag to hold their doll clothes or other goodies.  Big kids might like them too.  I made a set for my 22 year old son.  He used the long rectangular bag for his league softball things.  He used the square bag for jumper cables.

This set was made with the Mama Said Sew Moda fabric line.  You’ll need a jelly roll.  With it you’ll be able to make several bags.  The fabric is our school colors and our daughter, Kalissa, used the bags while she was cheerleading.
