About a year or so ago when Moda released the fabric line Oz by Sanae, I was CRAZY over the fabric. Â I bought 2 charm packs and made this Round About Schnibble from Miss Rosie.
Then I used the leftovers and made another baby quilt that I’ll show you tomorrow. Â I loved that fabric SO much that I bought a layer cake.
Recently, I noticed that quilt shops are clearancing out the fabric as it is an “older line” so I decided I better get using the layer cake while I can still get coordinating fabric if I need it.
I grabbed the layer cake and cut out this Kaleidoscope Pattern from Heather Mulder Peterson’s book Living Large.
I have the blocks sewn but that’s as far as that project got.  I need to order coordinating fabric in order to finish it up.
I was looking for some fabric to use for the new quilt a long Judy at Patchwork Times is hosting and as unbelievable as it is….I found a jelly roll of Oz fabric that I didn’t remember purchasing. Â So I guess I’m “heading back to Oz”…at least Oz fabric anyway. Â Judy didn’t suggest that this quilt can be made with a jelly roll but after reading the fabric requirements, I think it will work. Â It’s worth a try anyway.
I think by the time I get these other TWO Oz quilts finished, I’ll be ready to head to Kansas and my beagle Gracie’s name will be changed to Toto!
Follow the yellow brick road to my place…you can stay with me and teach me all you know.
I received my trivet set today…Thankyou so much. It will be my companion on my trip to SC for my grandson’s graduation from Marine Boot Camp. Thanks again.
