Thanks to so many of you for playing along. We loved reading about all your dogs and pet stories.
Here are the winners of the Quiltmaker’s 100 block Magazine:
Kelli and I are sending autographed copies too:
Laura who said, “I love your beagles! I have a 12 year old Black & White Cocker Spaniel rescue, Maggie Mae. She is very devoted to her pack-leader and is so much company! Your blocks are great & I love the idea of the neutrals being various prints.”
Marian who said, “When our 14 yo “found playing in traffic ” mutt died , we were bereft. So off we went to the Humane Society to find a small, female, non-shedding dog. Well other than the female part, we failed. We are now the human servants to a catahoula-lab mix and an Irish setter!”
Quiltmaker will send a magazine out to:
Susan Brooks who said, “I love your block, and the quilt it makes. I had a little Maltese dog for 13 years, she passed this last February. I’ll never enjoy that month again, but time heals. I still grieve for my constant companion. That is the true cost of having a dog, or cat.”
The winner of the Pieced Hexies: A New Tradition in English Paper Piecing by Mickey Depre is Terri H who said, “I am currently working on a table runner using 1″ hexaies. I tried 1/4″ inch hexaies, did two flowers but they are just too small, cute but wow!”
The great people at PickleDish supplied us with the book to review and I am so glad they did.
We still have one more giveaway going on the “Between Heaven Texas” giveaway that you can sign up for here. On Tuesday as part of our Try in on Tuesday segment we will be reviewing Lizzie’s Legacy: More Quilts from a Pioneer Woman’s Journal. You won’t want to miss it.
