This little quilt has been a long time in the making. Kelli made it a few years ago, then let the top sit. Then a couple months ago I told her to bring some quilt tops home and I would work to get them quilted. Well it was finally this quilts turn on the quilting frame.
Now that it’s done I am wondering why we took so long to finish it. Isn’t it just the cutest thing??
It measures 32 ” x 36″ and is really simple to make. I used this thread on top Maxi-Lock® Swirl – Variegated Thread 3,000 yds – #61 Peachy Orange Parfait. It blended beautifully.
The pattern can easily be adjust to make the quilt bigger. The quilt is made with two charm packs plus a little yardage.
If you look, you can see that the blocks are pinwheels. Sometimes a light color makes the pinwheel and other times, the dark color makes the pinwheel.
We put together a pattern for you and you find Pinwheel Pizzazz Directions here. If you make one of these quilts or any of our quilt patterns we’d love for you share it with us and we will feature it here on the blog.
