February Schnibbles

I spent lastnight  playing with my February Schnibbles….here is my progress…

I was playing with the blocks and like this layout better than what is shown on the pattern front.  It is more of a barn raising design….I am leaving the blocks sit out for the day so that every time I pass by, I can assess it again.  I thought this Schnibble would be good for a baby quilt, so I dugout my 30’s reproduction fabrics and used them.  My plan is to add a wider border.  Right now the quilt is scheduled to finish at 37 x 37″ so just another small border should do the trick to make it a better size foar a baby quilt.  I like my baby quilts at minimum 40 X40″.
